My fun reading from term 4 week 5

This is my writing from term 4 week 5. I am nearly on Evaluating which is the last blooms task we have to do for the week.

Dotterel Chicks
Knowledge a
1. 4 Dotterel birds

3. A man
4. The man's son

Comprehension c
Fistly the writer was walking on the beach when a Dotterel bird kept running up to her and then walked away. The writer new that the bird was trying to take her somewhere else. She new that meant the bird was hiding something.
Then the writer had a feeling that it was eggs the bird was hiding, so the writer walked away and hid in the tall grass waiting to see if the bird would go to a nest.
While the writer was sitting there another Dotterel bird flew down and waddled to a pile of twigs. The bird started to dig down then it stopped and sat.
The writer thought that that must be where the eggs are.
The next weekend the writer came back to the beach and couldn't find the nest she thought someone had destroyed it, but then she heard some rustling in the bushes. She wondered if they had hatched. She slowly creped up to the bush and she saw two little chicks. One of them ran away very quickly and the other just lay down, shaking a little. Lastly she decided to leave because she knew it was frightened. She was just glad she got to see them.
